Amazon Plugin

Hi,

Has anyone got the Amazon plugin to work?

I get the A<- in the upper right hand corner, but when I enter a search item, nothing happens. Just says uploading in a red box.

You did put in your amazon code? And most important check that US is chosen and not the standard Canada.

The problem with Amazon Plugin is that it sometimes brings visitor to a page with somekind of error. Maybe it is not an error, but you cannot see product's image and description and the only option that remains to do is to click "Add To Cart".

I just hope the affiliate cookie retains.

No, where do I find it?

Go to your admin panel and choose:
Options -> Amazon

There you have 2 options you will need to change for your situation.

Default Country should be "United States" or else searches will go wrong.
And at "Associate ID:" you put your Amazon Associate ID, you do have one don't you?

I had the ID but not the right country.
