Default I'm frustrated and it's only day 1

Your material is great, but getting past day 1 is a challenge and a half. I converted to Host Gator, watched the video, and now when I try to access my site I get the template of host gator instead.

Also...

I am unable to access the header graphics. I do believe I've unzipped the files correctly, but when I browse out to select the graphic I only see a compressed zip file in the location where I find all files if approached thru Windows Explorer instead.

Perhaps I'm alone on this, but it seems like the video could be more detailed in how to get things setup successfully.

Cheers
Guy

Hi pumpsmarrt.

Keep at it matey, there are a lot of hurdles, and this is understandable. Hostgator is great, however, if it is your first time with Cpanel, then it does have a bit of getting used to. Some questions...

Have you added the domain in Cpanel?

Try giving it 5 mins after uploading template as it can take a few moments to update. If that fails try pressing CTRL + F5 on your keyboard (this basically forces your browser to get the page from the server, rather then the cache on your PC).

If that fails, go to hostgators site and pose a quick question. They are very fast and helpful.

What are you using to unzip the pack? Are you using Winzip or Winace? How I do it, is to browse to where the folder is where I am holding the zip archive, then right click and move the file. A context menu comes up saying do you want to unzip in current folder, in folder with name of zip, etc... then go from there.

An extra tip is to highlight the location in the address bar of windows explorer. Copy and paste into the web wordpress installer.

Good luck, and keep at it. The journey is long, however, having many streams of income will be worth the effort. Take things one day at a time. If it takes you 120 days instead of 90 days, who cares. Just make sure you complete it, time is irrelevant.

Default Thanks for the reply

Robert of PLRpro has been most helpful in resolving my issues. I'm now ready to start the 90 day plan, which I will do my best to keep to 90 days. I plan to kick this project off next Monday due to personal schedule issues.
