need hostgator whm guidance

Hi guys,

well I have my domain names, have my hostgator reseller account, with the parent domain set-up.

I have never used a reseller account before - nor a hosting accout.....

I want to add 3 more of my domains from namecheap.....question is


in the whm control panel:

1) do I use 1 account for all of my 90 day challenge domains? or

2) do I create a new account for each domain name.

Based upon discussions with hostgator:

3) using option 1 all of my domains will have identical IP addresses

4) using option 2 each of my domains will have its own unique IP address


which one is best and why

Hey Donna,

You can setup 1 ip address to be shared, so you will still have the same ip address.

And you can only have every one on a new ip if you order new ip's (because you get 5 with your reseller I think)

I would do one on its own account, makes it easier later on from personal preference and experience.
