Default Newbie noob questions

OK, I've searched the threads here and on the plrpro forums and I find the questions but not exactly sure about the answers. And I think everything I've read has become a big ball of mush in my brain.

So here we go:

When I use the WP installer, I get: "It doesn't look like you've installed WP yet. Try running install.php" I've read that when people run the install.php they don't get all the nifty things the installer provides so I don't want to do that if that's the case.

I've deleted the database and the files and tried to run it again and get the same message. (and honestly after all the struggling and errors to get to this point, i feel like i've made a lot of progress)

suggestions?

Also, with the longtail keywords, when rewriting the articles with them, do you have to use the phrase in that exact order or can you put the words in a way that makes more sense but still uses the same words? does that question even make sense?

And at the upload header option in the installer, do I upload the image folder that I downloaded from the plrpro site? or just the header image?

OK, that's it for now.

My suggestion is to keep on trying and follow exactly the instructions in the video. If you still cannot get it, try it until you get it. That is what I do and I am also in the same position as you when I just started out. Some people thought that something is wrong with the installer after they tried so many times without success, but believe me there is nothing wrong with the installer. Make it your "friend" and you will be surprised how easy and fast to install your blog once you know it. Let me tell you and I am not boasting to let you know that I can now install my blog within five minutes, yes you hear it correctly, nowadays.

You need just the header image only.

Hope that answers some of your questions.

Cheers

thanks so much. i will keep trying.

i was pretty convinced it was a user error situation (my fault) and not with the installer. i just wasn't sure if i was doing something wrong.

and i think i posted this in the wrong place. i did not have any suggestions, just questions. oops, user error again.
