free 90 day challenge directory resource

curious if anyone has used the free directory resource in the lastest 90 DC guide

I was using it today for my first site and out of 150 or so that are listed, I was only able to submit my URL to about 30-40

the rest were either paid, reciprocal, not directorys, no taking new URLs...etc.....


is it me or is anyone running into the same issue

in going thru the forum...looks like I should have 300 - 500 directory links

which is more than this resource even has to start

never done this before...so any guidance would be great

Where is the list you are using. Are they directories??

What you are looking for is on topic on theme links from other website that have good PR ranking. You can't beat a link from an authority website. Links are very important, but get the directories done and then start to get good links from sites that are in your niche or can work in your niche. These are the best you can get. They are starting to move away from off topic links.

It used to be hook up with some link farm and get all the links you can. Not anymore and it will be less in the future. Do a google search for your keyword phrases and there are your sites that you could link with.

yes they are directories, its the directly list they added to the 90 DC material and it also helps manage the submission process....below is the link

I was submitting to general directories, they really did not have health directories listed

thanks for the input....I've heard on theme is best....from other sources

I will focus on quality and not so much on quantity

will also use SEO elite to reverse engineer

I was not really talking about health directories. Those directories that you have there if you did 30-40 that is more than enough for directories. I think I have 15-20 and thats it.

I was talking about the websites that you will want to link to. Those are the ones that you need to be in the niche or topic or theme of your site. I have been getting some off of linkmarket.com and also linkmetro.com. Both are free.

When you go to the two that I listed, you are going to get a lot of crap. Just tell them that you don't want to link with them. You won't hurt anyones feelings. I probably don't link more than I do link on the two above.

When you use the seo elite, go to the directories and put in a broad topic and set it to 100 and you will get plenty of on them links. Ideally if you can get a link with with the keywords in it those are even better.

Hi Steve. I hope you have time for a few additional questions:

1) Are you only targeting the free directories or are the 15-20 directories you're talking about some of the larger paid directories?

2) What project of SEO elite are you running? After the new version I am a bit confused about how to do the link exchanges that was done by SEO elite finding LinkPartner sites where you could exchange links.

Yes they are free directories..

SEO elite is the same as before for link partners...then I select directories and that will give you more that just directories to link too.
