Default ISnare and Closed High PR Directories

Hello,

I am starting to plan out my article submissions and while I was registering at the high PR sites I found that:

1)ArticleFever and Article99 are closed to new members
2)Buzzle seems to be offline(at least as of this writing)

Does anyone have some thoughts about which ones to replace these sites with?

Is there a listing of the sites that ISnare submits to? If we knew this we could decide whether to manually add others that we might find applicable.

Thanks :?

in curiosity i wrote to iSnare to ask about their list.

The reply:

Hello,

Sorry, but we do not give a full list of sites because we consider our list as proprietary. We invested too much time and finances to compile and continue growing the list.

To check for results we would suggest going directly to Google, MSN, and Yahoo for the direct results of the campaign.

Search for your article title enclosed in quotes in those SEs and see the results. Please take note that this method of direct checking is only applicable after a few days or weeks to allow site owners to review the articles and for the SEs to crawl the sites.
</reply> (edited for brevity)

i'll wait a while to check, because i don't want to submit the same articles twice to a directory and p*** them off. Marc/Dan suggested a few directories to hand-submit articles to; i'm sticking with those for now.
