Default Length of Articles

I was wondering what is the ideal length for articles to submit to directories and what kind of software to use for beginners for the submission ? Anyone here can give some ideas and if possible can list what are the first few steps to take.

As you see, I am a novice trying to figure out. Thanks.

Default length of articles

Hello,
You can probably be around 5-600 words should be fine and I use article post robot for submitting. There is free submitter software that you can use like article submitter, just go to one of my sites and you will see the link on the right. You can also use isnare and let them submit for you for around $1.5 per article.

For isnare articles need to be a minimum of 500 words, otherwise it won't be accepted.

Thanks for the info. What other text editors to use other than notepad for articles writing ? I understand microsoft word may not be suitable. One thing with notepad is I cannot bold and highlight the texts. There is limited functions compare to words.
Any suggestions? Thanks

Default bold and highlight

Hello,
You don't really want any formatting in your article when you post it to your site. You can do that once you have it in the editor on your site. Notepad++ I believe has bold and highlight that you are looking for. If you want to bold something, just do it like I just showed you, if you want it in italics do it this way. Then copy it to your editor and put it in the html portion of your editor

Cool

I've also found that it's not good to have your article over 750 words and that the title you're using for your article shouldn't be too long as well.
