Default Linking from within articles to other articles on our site

I am not clear on how this is done.

I know how to put a link in the article I just need some clarity on where the link should point to:

a) Other articles I have submitted to the article directories
b) Pages within my site
c) Both

How do we link to pages within our site?

Thanks
Jakki

Jakki,

I can think of only two reasons why you would ever link to a page NOT on your site:

1) to direct your readers to a related topic of interest
2) to make money (i.e. an affiliate link)

Number one has little financial benefit unless you are providing value to vistors that are likely to return to your site.

To link to a page within your site, go to the page you want to link to (e.g. click on the title of a post you want to link to) and copy the URL from the address bar in your browser when you are on that page. That's the URL of the page you want to link to, so that's the URL you use when creating the link.

Does that answer your question?

Ben

For the purposes of this challenge, definitely DO link to your site, either to the homepage, or deep link into your internal pages (this means instead of linking to www.mydomain.com you'd like to http://www.mydomain.com/whatevertopi...for/index.html)

Long url there

Does that make sense?

Daniel

p.s. much of the point for articles is to direct users to your site from reading the articles as well as building your rankings in the engines
