I don't know if you plan on signing up for link market, maybe it is better than the free version. Try it yourself. The one that is really bad is the linkmetro, there are many link farms on that site. Link market is not as bad, but you try it. There are programs, free, that you can use to post on the blogs. You must find the blogs that don't use the "nofollow" tag. If you post on the ones that have that it is totally worthless and your time is wasted. You have to post on the right sites, commentkahuna, commentsniper, and there is a new one that just came out too, real link finder, fast blog finder will all find blogs that have the "dofollow" on the comment post. They are all free and they work great. I use commentkahuna but was going to check out the real link finder and see how that works. So check them out and you can find blogs in your niche and post a relevant comment, not a spam post or some crappy post. Read the post that you are going to comment on and then post something that makes sense and helps the other readers out with your comment and your link.

Cobweb, I purchased a 2 for 1 deal from SBI in January, and at $299 a year, it is not too bad, since they are hosting your site as well.

It is really the tools, tips and information you get about SEO, keywords and so much else that makes it an incredible deal for beginners, it is really a great place to start.

It has really been valuable for me and got me started in thinking about the right ways to PreSell my site.

While, I enjoy Ken Evoy's concepts and books, I have found that it is not necessary to have niche sites about topics you LOVE. I want to make money, not just while away my hours writing about my cats hair ball issues.

I don't use SBI to host any of my other sites as, you are correct and that would be toooooooo expensive. I use 1&1 and HostGator for that cause I can have unlimited domains hosted.
