Adsense ads - when do they start showing?

I have just posted the initial 5 articles on my site and I notice that adsense is showing at the top but not in the top right hand box, which is currently a blank space, is that correct?

Is it blank or does it have a PSA (most likely hurricane relief fund) add showing?

If it's blanks you have a problem. There should always be something there. If you are seeing a Public service ad like the hurricane one then your ads should start showing very soon

I have never had an issue with it.

So dont usually do it.

In this template you cannot turn off the ads without modifying the template, or it will error out and non of your blog will be visible.

What you could do is change the adsense-deluxe by removing the code. But I wouldnt reccomend it.

I will in the latest templates throw a php check in to see if the plugin is on or off and then display.

What that will mean is that you could turn them off, and your blog would still work.

In case your ads are not showing up it could be that the checkbox isn't checked in the Adsense Deluxe plugin.

Habelow gave us an awesome tip on showing or not showing the Adsense ads.

Just have a look at the thread I mentioned.
