Adsense/Amazon ID Question

Hello,

I currently have accounts set up with Adsense and Amazon for another website I have going.

I noticed with Amazon that my current tracking ID is associated with that particular website. Will I have to create a new tracking ID with Amazon everytime I put up a site? The one I have now was auto-generated by Amazon based on the topic of my website -- so I guess each ID is tailor made for the site?? And I can't find the 'E-commerce ID' or actual 'Publisher ID' that I will need when I do the installer.....????
I only have a tracking ID. Or is my tracking ID the pub ID with Amazon. It doesn't have the 'pub' before it though...

I found my pub ID. However, on the WP installer video, it's explained that there is a difference b/t a pub ID and a channel ID. The current pub ID I have has a pub AND a string of #s behind it and one is not suppose to have the other (I don't think). It seems as though my pub ID is both pub and channel...?????

I need light people...it's pretty dark in here.....

You can go ahead and use your Amazon ID that you have for any of the websites that you want to use.I use mine for all of the different sites that I have and I don't create a new one for each and every site. I guess you could if you wanted to but I don't see any reason to.

As far as your head since publisher ID goes in the one that has the pub with the numbers after it is your pub ID. The channel ID is for tracking purposes. If you wanted to track which website you are different had sense monies was coming from you could set up different channel IDs for each of those different websites and then that way you could track where your money or where your hits are coming from.

If you go into your Adsense account and click on My Acccount, at the bottom of the page is "Property Info". That is your pub #.

I set up a channel id to track bad-breath-advisor.com and it is just a number without the pub. If I click on Reortps, I can get a report that shows adsense income by channel id# and that has all my channel id #s and whether I made any money of not.

And I see that bba made $1.28 on the 27th. This site would have made over $4 in January if I hadn't destroyed it with Installer.

So even if I goofed with iSnare, maybe it didn't hurt me.

I just checked the latest 90dayplan & it does not line up with the one I downloaded 2 months ago. The page numbers are now on the left-hand side, etc. Plus a pep talk from Daniel, so the main body doesn't start until p.25, oh well, back to the drawing board.

I've set up my Adsense using the AdsenseDeluxe plugin but somehow, Adsense is not showing up on my website.
Have put in the pub ID and channel ID as per the video.
Not sure where I went wrong.

Double check your AdSense pub-######## in AdSense Deluxe plugin. Press apply and see if it is displayed properly in your AdSense Deluxe configuration again.

If it is, then finally check your site.
If it is not, then try removing ca- before pub- if you see it duplicated.

I've just checked.
I previously just substituted my ID number without checking the pub or ca.
Turns out the default values had "pub-ca-ID number".
But my Adsense for Content ID is "ca-pub-ID number"

So if anyone has a similar problem, do check the "ca-pub" sequence.

Just check how it is displayed in your AdSense account and put it inside AdSense Deluxe plugin.
