Default Affiliate product posts - a question

Hi

Can you tell me how we post a product review and how we change the headings so that they do not read - Product review #1 etc?

Thanks
Jakki

Hi Jakki

Go into Manage and then Pages and you will see the Product Reviews, then just click on edit for whatever page you wish to add a review then add the review and change the title where it says Product Review #

Hello,

I noticed that when I change the navigation bar name, the file name displayed still reads Product_Review_#1. Is there any way to change the file name as well?

Bill,

did you change it exactly as Carm says?

Did you click Save Changes?

I did it as described above and it worked fine.

Are you talking about the url or the text on the link?

If you want to change what the url is, then you will need to delete the page and then create a new one.

I suggest you leave the url as it is so you can change products as time goes by without having to change the url and losing all of the seo for that page.

Hi Bill,

Try going into Manage then, Page Management and change the Post Slug to the same as the product title and your URL should then be that and not Product Review #

Then you can always change it back to the Product Review # later if you wish.

If you want to add a Resource page or Links page or any other page then Page Management is where you do it and whatever you put at Title will be in the Nav bar and change the Post Slug so the URL matches.

It's worked for me.

Robert & Carmel,

Thanks for your help - I tried doing what you said and it worked perfectly. Changing the "Slug" title did change the file URL for me. We all learn a little more each day in this business.

I have been wanting to learn and use WordPress for some time now but it never reached the top of my ToDo list. Well, the 90 Day Challenge changed all of that and the head-start we got with the new template was a real plus!
