Default Amazon not working right...

Hello all,

I am having another little problem.

When you want to insert products from amazon....You know when you are posting and it says something like do you want to add amazon stuff???? This is not working for me. I receive an error when it trys to go to amazon.??

I get this error:
Warning: curl_setopt() [function.curl-setopt]: CURLOPT_FOLLOWLOCATION cannot be activated when in safe_mode or an open_basedir is set in /home/golfer57/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-amazon.php on line 70

What do I do about this error and how do I fix it????
Has anyone else had this problem with amazon?????

thanks,
Steve

Just check this out, its very awesome.

This will be in the new version tonight, and I will give everyone instructions on how to fix their blogs to have the new functionality.

Thanks
Marc

oh yeah, go to that link above and watch the video.

This will give no-one an excuse not to be posting amazon product posts.

And if you arent doing it, you are crazy....

Marc

Default Can't Play Video

Hi Marc

When I click on that link the video downloads but when I play it there is no sound and it looks as though it is running much too fast as the cursor wizzes across the screen.

I tried it in IE and Firefox but it does the same in both.

Any suggestions as to how I can make it play?

Thanks
Gillian

The video works fine for me.

I don't think there is meant to be sound.

Also check to make sure you are running the latest version of flash.

Thanks for the link Robert. It didn't make any difference unfortunately.

Will maybe try it on the local library computer.

Default new amazon update

I was looking all over the place today for the amazon update. I could not find it anywhere. I am looking forward to adding this to all the sites. Is there an idea when the amazon plugin is going to work?

Thanks

It works now if you want to have a go at installing it yourself.

It is incorporated into the installer now, along with the fix for IE6.

So any new sites will be fine, but I will need to do a video on how to activate new sites with the new amazon, its dead easy though.

Regards
Marc

Default How do we do it on the sites we have

Marc,

How do we get it going on the sites we have now? Do we need to take something away and put something in.

Can you give a quick go through for us who want to try?

Thanks in advance,
Steve
