Comments in Moderation?

Hi everyone,
I have a question, maybe someone can help me with?
When I log into my wordpress dashboard on the right hand side I can see my incoming links from my articles directory submissions. Under this is Comments and on my sites it says "comments in moderation" followed by the number of comments.
When I click into this it seems to just be all my articles that are now on lots of different sites.
Firstly is this normal? And secondly, what do I do with them - delete them, ignore them or approve them?
Obviously I want to keep all the links as isn't this the whole reason for submitting articles to directories? But I don't want my articles which are now posted all over the web to show up as comments?
