Default HELP Adsense Problem

I joined plrpro full of enthusiasm, however I am having constant difficulties, so now am feeling alittle defeated!!! I joined the 90DC about 2 weeks ago, since then I have put up and deleted several WP sites. The problem I am having is the adsense is not showing once I input my pub ID in. On the "original site" the adsense shows fine, however once I go into the plugin in the admin section then refresh with my pub id this happens - Golf Club Information (web page not showing). I have tried just putting my adsense code at the top and leaving the original publisher ids to the side - and yep my publisher id shows as "web page not found" but the block at the side is fine!

Obviously, no good taking part in the challenge if I can't even get a first WP blog up!!

Has anyone else had this problem.

Can someone point me to the "original" WP installer as I want to try this one to see if anything different happens.

Help please ..... I really want to succeed with this. Unfortunately I am falling at the first hurdle.

Heeeeeeeeeeeelp .......

in desperation

Roma

Default Not activated???

Hello,
It looks to me that you may not have the plugin activated. Do you? If you go to plugins is adsense deluxe activated (green)??? Next it seems to me that some of the adsense code is missing, not sure why that is. Check to see if the plugin is activated.

Hi Golfer57

Thanks so much for your response. I have just updated that particular blog with a free adsense theme and updated it via cpanel and ftp just to see if my adsense works. It does. So I will now do another site to see if the plugin is activated and let you know what happens.

Thanks
Roma

Default WP Installer Problem

Hi Golfer 57

Created yet another site, which was perfect original when uploaded but when tried to register pub id - once again "web page not found - adsense is activated so that is not the problem. However I am copying below what actually came up when my blog is installed each time:

Connecting to server via FTP
Uploading the directory to the server ftp.homeexerciseinformation.com:

Warning: ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: Can't create directory: File exists in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp23/user/index.php on line 207
Upload Complete!!

Configuration File modified.
SQL File modified.

Note the Warning that comes up! Even though it says blog installation complete at the bottom of the install screen and everything is the same (as on the video EXCEPT for the warning line). I think this is where the problems lies.

Looking at the video about the install and mine is identical in every respect EXCEPT the warning line - I am sure this is where the error lies. Please note - I have followed the videos exactly and get all "green, 1 - 2 - 3 nos".

What can I do about it??

Please help
Urgent advice needed or else I won't even be in the race for the 90DC!!
