Newbie 90DC questions

Hey,

so my finals are done (college student) and I've started to spend some quality time with all this but I've come up with a couple of questions, which I'm sure will make some of you roll your eyes, but bear with me please!

1) I've noticed that with some of the methods like posting to the site, etc, we need to do 5 articles / 3 days / site - does this mean perpetually or until we use up all the 40 (or less) articles.

My main concern is passive income - I will work my butt off no matter how long it'll take to set up an online asset that gives off passive income, meaning I don't want to work any longer. But the above line makes me question this assumption. Am I missing something here? Is there anything I should know?

2) Regarding other free strategies, I've come up across a few and I was wondering why 90DC doesn't incorporate the following: search engine submission (URL), posting on classifieds, opt-in emailers, and posting on forums? (Perhaps I've missed something as well)

Do you think I should ignore those 4 and just focus on the 90DC for now? Any thoughts?

3) Also, why can't I use sub-domains? Just seems a little wasteful to buy a domain for every site...(?)
