Hello to all,
I know that linking is very important and I am sure that you are seeing that it is too. I have many sites, and would invite any of you to feel free to link to them. They are in many niches, and you can link to any of them if you like. I don't even care if you are in the same niche. Link to more than one if you want to, doesn't matter to me. It is up to you, but you will get a link back from my site as well.
Here is how to do it. Click on one or more of the links below and post your information. You will find a link on the right side and bottom of the page that says "LINK TO US". Please use that link to do you linking. If you would like to know how I set up that page let me know. I have another links page, but I am trying to get this one established. I will be adding many links to these pages as well, so the PR is going to rise on this page, you may want some link juice from me, not sure, up to you. So link till yours hearts content. I ask that you put a link and the page will to on your site for my site. You will see what I mean when you start. Have fun and I am sure it will help both of us in the long run. Ok, I don't get it. I have had 24 views of this thread and just a couple of people get links with my sites. Ok, this is what I don't understand, why not more of you?? These are links from sites that have PR too. I am just wondering, and it doesn't really matter to me if you don't want to link. Like I said originally, it is up to you. I get links all day long from other sites on the net. I just thought that I would be helping everyone out a bit with an easy link that they are sure to get a back link for.
So anyway, if someone would like to answer WHY? that would be great. I saw a post on creating (now that I did this) a 90dc linking. Go for it, great idea, just not sure how you are going to do it and control it. Not as easy as it would first appear.

I am not sure how to answer your question. Not sure how to add links to our blogs.? Following the 90dc guide, it tells you to get links, from other sites or from web directories or even article posting and one way links or even buy links. You need to do all three. Articles will do so much, webs directories so much and you have to have links from other sites. By any of the methods I mention above.
What I have done is create a links page using this free program or should I say script. It allows others to post to your site (you still can delete them if they are nasty sites), you can add links yourself, so you can save some time with this having other post themselves building you link popularity for you.
YOu can create a links PAGE, which has been discussed in this forum is another way. Do a search for linking, links page or something along those lines. Here is the link on how to setup a wp links directory using a page, thanks to biz, How to create a WP links directory It has been described in detail on how to set this up. I personally like the one I am using that Kangaroo Jack turned me on too. So he gets all the credit for finding this, but it works.
Either way, if you want the search engines to find you, you MUST HAVE LINKS. It has been studied that you can get links from any niche. There is talk that you must get from your niche only, this is not true and has been proven as such. That is why I was offering to allow anyone to get a link (reciprocal) link back from my sites.
So either way you want to look at it you need to set up a links page and start getting links and building your link popularity up or you can forget about getting any traffic from the search engines.
Now if you have a long tail that has zero competition, you will get ranked, but for the harder keywords you have to have links (anchor text) using that keyword
Hopefully everyone know what an anchor text is and how to set that up. YOu should be using anchor text when you do your article marketing in the resource box. This is where you will have the keyword phrase that you want to rank for.
Anchor text will look something like this, I hope it shows the code that I want. I want to rank for the phrase lets say "Achilles Tendonitis". This is the phrase I want to rank for. So in article marketing or linking to other sites, I want to use this phrase like this <a href="http://www.tendonitistypes.com">Achilles Tendonitis</a> Or you can link to whatever page you want not just the home page. That is how you will get your inner pages ranked by going to that exact page and not just the home page. But the part >Achilles Tendonitis</a> is the anchor text and is the phrase that I want to rank for in the search engines. The more sites that have the above text the better that I am going to rank for that phrase.
So there is a quick explanation on anchor text and its purpose and also why you want a links page. Set it up anyway you want, using the program that I am using, setting up the PAGE for a links page. It does not matter. Just get one set up and start getting links. If you are wondering why your site is not showing up in the search engines and you have no linking strategy, that is your reason why. The quicker you get a linking strategy the better and faster you are going to rank.
I hope that help everyone out, and start linking, it is imperative that you do. This is how the search engines work.

I devote one day a week, just to linking. I go through all my sites and get some links for them. Either thru blogging comment, forum comment with a sig, reciprocal linking, one way link and the list goes on. Hello all,
I just wanted to show you guys and gals something. I do a lot of article marketing in order to get links to my sites. What I am going to show you is just one account that I have with an article directory. Some directories are better than others. But when I write an article and post it to the article directories (around 50-60 or them only the best ones) I will get links back to my sites using the anchor text that I used in the articles. Here is just one example. Don't forget there are another 50-60 other ones that look the same, maybe less, maybe more, it all depends. But here goes:

Look at the views, wow..... now look at published 1119 times. Those my friends are links to my sites, this is how important and easy article marketing is for getting links.... look at how many times the url was clicked, almost 10,000 times. Those are people going to my site, now that is traffic, which is another thing you want. Remember this is focused traffic because they were looking for what I was offering.

So start getting yourself some links folks, thru articles, reciprocal, one way, buying them (which I don't suggest) or some of the other ways I mentioned in the above post.

What I do, is when I write an article, I always write 2 (count em two (2)) one for the site and one for the directories. That way I am always having something out there gettting links. Real easy guys, this is the way to make it happen if you "GOTS" to have it. Which I do. You will know what the "GOTS" is about if you listened to the interview.

Hi Steve,

I am having trouble with DonnaDs linking instructions.

"highlight "Apple", then click on the "links" option in the tool bar. A small box will popup and ask the following:
URL - in this box past the URL of the "Apple" page that you copied."

No small box pops up for me.

I have partner page setup and apple and orange, but can't go any further because there is no box popping up.

A question about doubling your articles. I assume your change the Title and the keywords. Do you re-write the whole article or just the first and last paragraphs?
