Exclamation At the point we would normally be stopping

Hi,

Well we are half way in to the 90 DC. And at this point, normally we would end it or leave the site(s) to dry out because of disappointment. Let me be clear first, we are not stopping, far from it. I'm just pondering here.

Maybe half way is not correct, half way for the first 4 sites is a better way of saying it.

Normally after a month (or in this case 45 days) and, believe me, a lot less work, the traffic would be close to zero and we would be thinking that the niche was not for us.

Now with the 90 DC plan and on day 45 we are looking at traffic (on most sites) that took another one of our older sites a year and a half to get, by just naturally sitting there. We did see some strange effects on one site, that some would call sand boxing. Organic results going sky high (7 to 90 page views in just 3 weeks) but now dropping back to 7 to 15. I wouldn't call it sand boxing but a strange fluke that was corrected.

Is it enough traffic? No, we need a lot more if we are to get to the goal of USD 100 a month. But up to now it has proven a point to me that what Marc and Daniel tell us, "do not stop after 30 days, at least try something for 90 days " is so true. I do think that even if we did all the work we have done now with the 90 day schedule we would have stopped around day 20 to 30, if M&D wouldn't have pointed out that simple fact, at least 90 days.

I'm very excited about it all and wondering what the next 45 days will bring us. Site 5 to 8 are now online and starting to build some minor traffic. Site 9 to 12 are, niche wise, chosen and will start building them and preparing the first batch of articles in the coming weeks.

Just had to tell it to you all to keep myself and maybe a few of you motivated.

SeeYa,
Michel

Hey Michel,

So true, 45 days is still baby steps :P

I look at my sites from a 9 to 12 month period, so even longer.

But if you are starting out online, we noticed even 30 days "seemed" too long. So we had to impress that it really takes 90 days to start getting results.

Truth be told the best results happen from there onwards.

Keep at it and thanks for the post.

Regards
Marc
