Upto now I have been restricting the specific income sources, depending on what I am promoting.
If I am selling a Clickbank product that is the primary focus of the blog article/s to direct the reader to the required action. I have avoided and Google or other ads that earn mere cents over the affiliate product, since these can drive the reader away from what I want him to do, thus loose a $$$ sale.
One site which is pure info, has an Amazon shop on it targeted specificlly to Scuba products, all 6000 + of them, but they are stuffed currently because of the AUS$ ! This site is
Scuba Service Specialists - Home and it also has a couple of site building & hosting links. It's basically an info + business site with monetisation as a hoped for bonus.
If I want Adsence revenue I think I would build a site with this end in mind like many others in the IM industry who make big $$ doing just this.
Basically the only on page redirection I want is directly to the product that gives me max revenue unless it is unrelated like Xsitepro or Hostgator, even then I think I would approach with caution.
