| Just a quick note. Make sure for any domains you have registered with a domain registrar that you have Auto renew checked for that domain name with the Registrar. Then of course you will be auto notified when it comes time to re-new that domain name. That is something I just did for my first two Niche domain names. Joaquin

| Jaquin As this topic is related more to preserving your online business, i would like to add that backing up your hosting account is imperative for you. All 90 Day Challenge people! Try to backup your hosting account may it be files, database or email accounts frequently I have heard that you can even have your backups scheduled for sending right to your email! I am very curious about this way of backup - very convenient. If someone has knowledge or experience here on how it may be done then please share it. Thanks. |

| @ Joaquin - good advice as you don't want lose a domain that is making you money. Generally though I've found if you are with a legit host then they will select by default that your domain is on auto renewal. The main thing what people do that lose their domains is not to update their email address attached to the hosting account and lose any information about their renewal - silly people. @Boris - Other than downloading all of the info to a hard drive from your account I wouldn't know of any other way. I get my blogs emailed to me once a month by wordpress and download and backup my BANS sites. |
