| In order to make sure once again that IM niche is something where you must have lists and bonuses to play with big players i conducted a little case study. Recently i was trying to promote Blog Classroom by leveraging social media and Google AdWords. It got a lot of buzz and was promoted by many affiliates. I used unique approach angle and used what is called Product Launch Formula method but for affiliates (since i wasn't the vendor). While all the buzz was created one week before Blog Classroom launch and they were accepting leads, i took that opportunity and started creating content for Blog Classroom and optimizing it for potential keywords. Final results? About 59 raw clicks to landing page 20 unique visitors 0 signups Where i lost: Spent time writing my own content about blogging. Spent 3-5$ on AdWords Content Network which is nothing .What i won? Additional fat by sitting and spending time for nothing. The conclusion: Do not bother going into IM niche unless: 1) You have some authority in IM world 2) You have good incentive to offer 3) You have a list with people that bought from you once 4) You have JV partners 5) You have your own product and know how to market it correctly
