| Probably, but the domains that I will be using are throw away domains. IE: domains I have bought but have never used and will never use.

| Hi Everybody Yes you can make some big bucks from doing it. Point is that if you search back in the short time of internet history, you would find the .com BIG BANG. Basically what occurred was that people came on to the net to have a website for their bussiness and found there legal bussiness name that existed for many years before was now owned by some monkey and they had to buy their bussiness name for a little fortune or for that matter a real fortune.. The blue chip companys could afford to do it and the person that registered the name became an overnight millionare. Now if you buy names and do not use them yourself, then you can loose it if the person or entity that wants it take you on, they then must prove that they have the right to the name. It do not happen just like that, but if you have a name that represent a company with good legal recourses then you take what they offer, or you are bound to loose out. Expired domains, people buy them for the traffic that they might still produse. This is what most of the traffic for sale company's do and that is how they send traffic to you if you buy traffic from them. If the domain do not generate traffic anymore then they just make it available for ressell. If you buy a domain name and park it, then make sure that the park domain is with your adsense code. People that search the domain will then end up on those sites with your links. In short Yes you can make a massive income just on parking domains and then resell it,, But a Very Big But,, If you take that domains and just put a adsense site 1 to 5 pages,,, then you are in for the real bucks. Also then you are safe in the sense that you do utilise the site. You do not need to optimise the site or anything,, If people search for the name they end on your domain and site,, now you can also put a link at the top and say this domain might for sale.. Then go and research the person or the company and see if you can pursuade them to make a better offer,, If they really want it then they will. Back to a name that have a site,, You now can sell the site as a complete website with adsens imbedded, your client need only input their adsense code. I can not seem to find some of the bigger sites in that industry, but here is some of the smaller Guys ( This is not an affilliated link:: Home Based Internet Marketing Business For Sale | Turnkey Web Sites For Sale – i5networks ) They build a simple site with a domain,, now you come around an buy it.. Now if they do not sell the site in a few Months they optimise it a little and get some traffic to it,, now they charge you 5000 bucks for the same site and ultamitely the domain. At the end unless I am making a mistake, they actually sell domains and hosting for the domains pluss a website. So buy many domains and then park them. Earn some income,, but if you are at the point of doing that then why not spend some time and ad a basic site to the domain,, if you have time work the site a little,, then you will be able to sell the domain as the domain now have some value and some traffic to it. | Hi Everybody Forgot to add this; If you buy expired domains,, Well high traffic domains you might end up that the original owner wants his/her domain back, they will pay well for that privilege. The older the domain the better for you. That is if you are fast enough to get hold of a domain like that... Look at it this way: You create a site linked to a domain.. You spend 12 Months on getting your site indexed.. Your only mistake is that you are so busy with new sites that you forget to renew your domain name.. Now you also get spammed by all sorts that you miss the renewal notification. Your site is doing well and you think everything is honkey donkey.. You now go past you renewal period and the extention.... I come into the frey and grab your domain, , you see that you site is down, You contact your webhost, they tell you your account is still in good standing,, you go and look at your registrar and they say... WELLLLLL WE DID NOTIFY YOU. They aslo proof it.. They try and help you but can not do anything more for you as I now own your domain. You now contact me and cry as you want me to give back your hard work,, Me if I am lucky, somebody else is also looking to buy the domain now ( They have done some hard research on the domain and want it now... Your hard work done ) WELL I am the owner now:: Choise 1 Traffic,, and more traffic,, It will end eventually,, but I now have two entities interested, ( I can wait a few more Weeks and get more interested parties available) I apraise the domain and then decide who to let it go to.. If I am an ass then I will only let it go to the highest bidder,, This is the way it happens.. My personal view if that happens and you are the new domain owner, then let it go to the ex.. Unless the ex offer some crazy low prise. Kind Regards Ronald Last edited by Ronald : 08-13-2008 at 12:43 AM. |

| Take a look at domainparkingmoney.net and you'll get all the info you need about it .This guy Brian Johnson has made a killing with this by using .gov sites etc with high page rank and inbound links and he says that you do have to be careful not to change the content too much from what it was originally or otherwise you will get d-indexed .Also you can use the wayback machine to see what the content was like before and use some of that old content. Great info! check it out! and I'm not an affiliate I promiss! |

| There is more than one way to skin a cat guys. personally i buy domains and rather than park them and share revenue (by the way i don't think sedo use adsense but their own advertisers - could be wrong about that though) i monetize trhem myself by various means - then when it comes to reselling the domains they are worth more as they have traffic and income. My advice to anyone wishing to have a punt on this type of business is to tread very carefully, its very easy to end up with 200 brilliant domain names (well you thought they were brilliant) that are not worth a cent not even the registration fee. If you are interested let me know and i can point you in the right direction via affiliate links of course to the best places to buy cheap domains and where to get great monetizing content, but remember its easy to lose money!!Iain |
