Post Conducting A Clickbank / AdSense Test

I am going to do a case study on Clickbank and AdSense. Actually i will turn off AdSense ads out of my 8 sites and see how affiliate sales perform.

It is possible that AdSense "steals" my qualified for buying visitors so i want to see what will happen if i will disable AdSense and only leave Clickbank as a source of income from my sites.

If AdSense ad pays me 1$ for visitor who could potentially buy affiliate product, then why would i need that 1$ if i could make a lot more?

I will keep you updated.

I think some of the plrpro websites are more focussed on adsense and others on affiliate sales.

I have one site that I started before the 90dc that is completely focussed on affiliate sales.

I suspect that topics such as bluetooth will make more adsense income than affiliate income. Let us know how your test goes as I for one will be very interested

My only input on this is that I find it best to restrict the number of alternatives a visitor can click on to leave my site. For articles that are general in nature about a niche I feature Adsense but when promoting an affiliate programme, I make more money on that so, I do not feature adsense as it could distract a potential buyer away from the purpose of that content page.

Just my thoughts

I use clickbank-adsense.com Clickbank ads for my clickbank affiliate marketing, I can enter ad keywords and style the colors in order to integrate the ads into my site content. I find I make more money from these type of ads than from Adsense and they look very similar.

I only use adsense now for my main pages or if I want to display a banner image.

Post Update

Hello everybody.

I have been running my 8 websites without AdSense ads for two weeks and made only 1 sale.

It was 11$ sale and alternatively i could make same or close to same amount with AdSense ads.

Well one thing i can say is that turning off your AdSense ads can increase click-through to affiliate offers.
