Smile Does google automatically update ads?

I'm working on putting up my first site (finally) Camping For Families….A New Kind Of Vacation and when it first went up all the adsense ads were camping related. I haven't put up any articles yet, I'm still doing rewrites.

Now all all the adsense ads are wedding invitation related. The default "recommended" is a button and link to a wedding invitation site. I changed it to a product from amazon but the adsense ads still remain wedding related. Is there something I need to do or will google automatically update this at some point after I start posting the articles?

Thanks again for helping out a newbie!

Hi,

It takes Google a few days to find your blog and then you will see the correct ads.

Hi,

Maybe a tip that someone else has given but I found that the best way to overcome this problem is the following. After running the WP installer the first thing to do after you entered a new password for admin is to remove the recommended button (how to is in the forum) and publish 1 (one) article to the site. This way you will probably see the right adsense ads. and they will stay. The next day (or the same) you can publish the other 4 articles.

But again, it's not such a big problem. The good ads will apear very quickly after you publish your first batch of 5 articles and that will be before the big flood of visitors will come to your site.

Succes to all,
Michel
