Default The end of the 90DC for me - probably

Well there have been many hurdles in this 90DC but there are now too many left for me continue.

I have been phished, and hacked and now 3 of my sites have been suspended for 2 weeks. None of this has been of my doing.

The tickets are ignored by support and this forum has no one in it to solve the problem.

I cannot waste any more on this - I have so many articles ready for three sites that are not even there.

I am sure I am speaking to thin air here so no one will probably read it.

Of course I might be surprised but I doubt it

Question I hear you

I don't understand why your websites were suspended? Who is responsible? Your hosting company?

That is too bad you were hacked. Did you use latest versions of WordPress? Or did you remove Login link from your main blog pages?

I usually put empty index.html file in WordPress directories like wp-content or wp-plugins where people can actually see directory structure's listing once they navigate there. I think this method helps against hackers so they won't know what files lie in directory.

Hi Ken,

Since you have not received an answer from Support yet, try emailing Daniel directly at daniel at plrpro dot com.

Hopefully, you'll get a response, and the issue will be sorted out quickly.

Also, I would strongly suggest you get your own hosting, and not rely on the PLRPro hosting. I can recommend Hostgator.

Regards,
Mario

Default You 2 could do this better

Well Mario & Boris

I'm sure that you two would do a fantastic job of running the 90DC

You answer quetions and help people out all the time.

Mario, I hope you are making piles of money because you deserve it.

My sites are on plr free hosting. I would like to move them to hostgator but as no one ever answers support questions I am at a dead end. I specifically asked support for this.

I have an orphaned 4th domain as well which in 2 months has never been avaliable to me even though I can see it with the ftp progrma I use.

Can you PM me daniels email address or is it the obvious one of daniel@.......com

Dude you cant let that stop you. You got to keep plugging along you don have to be perfect just get it going.

Problem:Hosting suspended....ok so it free hosting.
Solution:Buy cheap hosting. Use Host gator. It's cheap and you if you want pm me and I'll show you how you can get hosting for your first month for a penny.

Again keep it moving. Now lets get out there and make some money.

Desmond

Hello Kenj -

I just discovered the 90dc but have read through some of the posts and have seen the frustrations you've been experiencing, sorry to hear that you're struggling.

Just thought I'd share couple thoughts with you based upon my experience, maybe it'll help you.

My VRE has been attacked/hacked twice, I lost most or all of my sites. I know the first reaction is that doing business online is not for me.

But the alternative of going back to the four walls of my old 9 to 5 wasn't going to happen so I made a commitment to just learn from the experience and move on.

fact is, there are a lot of scumbags out there that are looking for vulnerabilities in your sites. You have to take a few minutes to keep your sites out of their reach. Thsi article may help: 9 easy ways to secure your WordPress blog - Simple Help

If you plan on sticking around, you have to get your own hosting. You can get unlimited domains hosted for under 10 bucks, a great way to start out.

Good luck in whatever you end up doing kenj!

Now, I'm off to explore around this pretty nifty resource here.

Mi-Viaje is underway

Question What can i say...

Kenj,

My first sites were successful in getting healthy amounts of traffic, but later i noticed that not every site can start receiving traffic immediately so i was frustrated.

How many backlinks must i build to start receiving some traffic? Who knows...But i thought that it will be easier.

So this is the next hurdle for me on my way on achieving success with 90 DC.

I have been thinking of doing AdSense Arbitrage, but not for my 90 DC sites, since they have got cheap AdSense keywords on them in order to offset the cost of advertising.

I was thinking of making blog with expensive AdSense keywords in it so i can profit. Was only thinking though...
