Smile Please tell me it's not my imagination!

Submitting to directories is the most time consuming, boring, tedious thing I've ever done........that would be not taking into account my first marriage....but I digress.....is it worthwhile to use a submission service for this? If so, any suggestions as to which one?

It seems like I've been at this all weekend and here's what I've got done:
Posted and began working on a 3rd site
Rewrote and posted 5 articles
Wrote and submitted 3 original articles 1 to isnare and 2 to ezinearticle
Submitted 2 sites to a about 15 directories from the SEO Friendly list.....assuming that's the list I should be using for that.
Linked up with a couple of golfer57's sites....

Was going to start on a link page but I'm wiped out!

Looking at all this in writing it doesn't seem like a lot....but I'm sure worn out!

If there's a question in all this it would be:
Since my time is very limited I want to make sure that just about everything I do relative to PLRPro is productive...so I'm asking you pros out there if my time was distributed properly or is there one or two things that I should have directed more energy to.

Thanks in advance........hope you all had a nice weekend...

Best regards,
David

I have a question for you. How did you do this without a links page?
Linked up with a couple of golfer57's sites....

Was going to start on a link page but I'm wiped out!

The last statement has me confused. no links page, how did you link??
Just wondering.....

Default Another question

Hello again,
did you only do ezinearticles??? Why not use the free article submitter and that way you can post to many article directories??? Also was that the paid Isnare??? If not, you will be waiting months to see that article published.... Just wondering. content and linking, content and linking and it sounds like you did some of that....
Steve

Hi Steve,

A while back you put up a post offering people to link to your sites...that's what I did and I put recips up on my sites. I did 2 ezine articles and one unpaid Isnare which I now know was a mistake......and yes...it was a lot of content and linking to the list in the SEO Friendly List.......I'm not familiar with the free article submitter you mention....what and where is that?

Thanks for your advice once again

David

Hi,

Free article submitter is on the discount page of the main PLRPro. It's by Brad Cullen of Keyword Elite fame.

How long did it take you David?

Writing will sap the energy from you, trust me on that one. When we started before PLRPro at one point we were doing 10 hours of writing a day for ourselves. (both Dan and I).

Then we found places like Rentacoder. That usually comes later when you have some extra to spend on your sites.

Regards
Marc

Hi Marc,

When you were rewriting did you just rewrite the first and last paragraphs and leave the ones in between the same?

Of course you changed the titles. Did you check them with Googles "allintitle" to make sure they weren't duplicated? I can now do that in about 25 minutes-shooting for 15.

When I started, it took me an hour to rewrite the entire article. Now I can do it in about 40 minutes. But is rewriting the entire article necessary?

What about those PLRPro websites I see that do not change anything and use them right out of the box? How do they do against the champ?

Are they wasting their time? They put them up faster than jackrabbits. I'm a turtle compared to them.

Default The Writing DIdn't Take That Long

I can usually crank out a 400 - 500 word article from scratch in about 20 minutes....a rewrite usually takes me about the same.....but your right Marc, it takes a lot out of me......

As I'm doing things....or should I say after I do things, I've been finding that if I share what I've done with the forum I end up learning a more efficient way to get these things done. Rather then have a V8 moment about it, I just do some research and look for some of the tools that the other members were kind enough to recommend. Like article post robot which looks like a pretty good tool although I haven't seen any direct comments about it here. If you or anyone has some thought about it I'd love to hear about it before I plunk down the cash.

I downloaded the Free Directory Submitter and it looks a little cumbersome but hands down it beats doing it one by one from the list....all in all....I just wanted to be sure that I was moving in the right direction.

Best,

David

Hi David,

You are right, it is time consuming rewriting the articles, not forgetting there are so many things who have to do to bring traffic to our sites. I am trying very hard to keep up when the plan, but still way behind though I spend more than 10 hours a day. I am not willing to quit, like Steve said persistence.

I am using APR to submit all my articles, before that I used article submitter, I am happy to use APR. With isnare, we have to pay if I am not mistaken to have our articles published. I haven't decided to pay yet cos I thought using APR is good enough. I am not too sure, hopefully others can advise.

Cheers
