| Hi, I'm not to up on rss feed either but the way I use it is to add it to other sites for instance on some of the web 2.0 sites like squidoo or blogger blog you can add a nodule for rss feed after you add the nodule for the rss feed then you go to the site that you want to capture the rss feed for and click the little icon for rss feed in the right corner of the url of the site. Then after you click that it will show a new address and you just copy and paste that address into the nodule on blogger or squidoo etc and it will search for that site. The way I see it is this is just like having a super link to your sites and creates a good link between them.It may also work for dig and and other bookmarking sites but I'm not sure because , I've never used it for them.I've only used it on squidoo, blogger and live journal and free wordpress ,oh and hubpages. |

| Hello, That was a great answer vmfan1, but there is another thing that you can do to generate some traffic. What you want to do is to submit the feed from your blog to RSS aggregates... So one thing you can do is to look that up in google or check out the link that I provided that will list a bunch of them. 55 Active RSS Directories to Help Promote Your RSS Feeds! Take your feed from your site and add it to as many of these aggregates that you want. The more the better and watch your traffic increase. Senuke does this automatically for you, just for your own information. But you can do it long hand without to much problem, it just takes some time. I hope that list helps you, Have fun and happy RSSing Steve |
