Default Rewrite rant

<rant>
I'm posting this here because I figure it is a bit of a rant.

I am amazed at how often I find PLR content being posted to sites and blogs with a 0% rewrite. Talk about lack of effort.

I understand that writing a lot of articles can be a tedious process at times, hence the popularity of PLR, but at least take some time to do some rewriting. Even just a paragragh or two would be an improvement.

Heck, I've even come across 0% rewrite articles posted on ezinearticles. Maybe its just me, but I find it really annoying. I guess there will always be people looking to make money with 0% effort. Good Luck with that.

No matter what you do, some people just don't get it. They will fall by the wayside sooner than they think - and pose no competition to those who work hard and rewrite.

Poor souls - I feel sorry for them. They probably don't do any of the other things necessary to make the 90DC work.

Lucky us.

Thanks for the replies.

I actually felt a little bad about posting a rant. I hate being negative. Its just a little pet peeve of mine and I had just come across some site posts that I recognized.

I actually go for a 75%-100% rewrite for all the PLR material I use in conjunction with my own original articles. It helps to create a consistant style and certain level of uniqueness (of course I guess there are not levels of unique; it either is or is not) .

I agree with you. Stay with the higher re-writes. Best strategy in the long run...

I used to do lots of low re-writes myself, but I came across a tool that makes re-writing a lot easier.

It's called WordFlood and it's a wordpro that gives you live synonyms as you type. I started using it for rewrites and then discovered a wonderful side benefit. It spurred my creativity and instead of simply re-writing content, I was adding a lot of my own unique ideas. Now I can create 100 percent unique content a lot faster.

Just google it. There's a 14 day trial on it.

Hey Polar Bear,

I saw your post and thought just another scraper. I watched the vid and thought "WOW". Great concept, great price (almost too cheap), and I hope it works the way it shows!

Downloading demo now!

Default they used a perfect article

I think that they used a perfect article to show. I tried it on a couple and it is not as quick as they are showing it. That is just my opinion. I would like to know what other think.

*Update on WordFlood*

I friggin' love it. The first article takes you some time to get done but you develop your flow and the articles become very easy to knock out. Great suggestion!

I downloaded the trial also and rewrote 5 articles in a matter of an hour or so. I think this program saved me a lot of time and I think the rewrite will get faster as I use the program. I'll buy.

Glad you guys like it. It's a real gem.

There are a couple of things about it I don't like but overall it's been a huge boost to my productivity and creativity over the last 3 months or so I've been using it.

I even use it to rewrite my own stuff to create even more 100 percent unique articles.

One of it's best features in my opinion is how you can teach it new synonyms as you go so that it keeps getting smarter all the time. I've had a lot of creativity spurred just by adding new words to the thesaraus. Very cool side-effect.

It's become an indispensible tool in my writing arsenal...
