I emailed support about this, so Robert may already be on the case. But just to explain what those awful noises are - apparently Camtasia is trying to get Adobe to fix some issues with the latest version of Flash. Initially I thought the problem was with my computer, so I did some digging around and came across a you tube video by Frank Bruno which tells you how to fix it.

There's nothing we can do out here, but the fix looks to be a quick one, so I'm sure we'll be able to watch the videos without the chipmonk noises very soon!

Here's the link if anyone's interested:

Good luck to everyone doing the challenge!

Hi Robert. This is Joaquin.
Here is a link to the video WordPress installer.

It is garbled. I can still hear it correctly though.

Also an additional thought here. Camtasia also lists a fix for videos already created so there isn't a need to recreate videos that is completed.

It's a little program that you run and it completely takes out the chipmunk sounds within the video.

This is a much easier fix than recreating the whole video set that has already been done. I say this because I see a message on the main page after logging in stating that "new videos are in the works".

According to Camtasia this isn't necessary if you use their software (free) to fix the videos.

I've done it to some of my videos and it works fine now. Took maybe all of a minute or so.

It has been noted that this is an Adobe Flash issue and not a Camtasia issue which I believe to be true since I've seen videos created in other versions of Camtasia (not camtasia 5) that have these chipmunk sounds in the background.

Thanks for the link.

I have noticed a problem with a particular computer here at the office when converting videos it produces garbled and squeeks throughout the video.

I have added it to the list to go back through the video's and see what we can redo and get fixed.

Thanks
Marc

I'm facing this same problem of the "Chipmunk" noises on the audio, for all the videos on this page

It seems this problem occurs if you have one of the newer versions of Adobe Flash installed.

Would appreciate it if this could be fixed soon.

I'm new and I am having the garbled video problem. I went to the Revver site, but it seems to be down for maintainance. Is this what I need to do? and does anyone know how long Revver has been down? This garbled video situation seems to have been a problem since Feb. Does it normally take this long to get a problem resolved?

Default Chipmunk sounds on nearly every video

I am new to PLRPro eBooks.
In looking through all the posts I see a lot of mention of all the chipmunk noises in the videos, but I have not found a solution.
Please help, some of the audio tracks come across so garbled that they are impossible to understand.

Thanks for any info.
