The other account is on their "shared" hosting, you could certainly use that though their accounts are somewhat limited. As soon as you use more then your share of the server's resources they will lock your account.
I have had that happen to me a few times way before I got dedicated hosting with them.
With a reseller account you can create a new account per site, rather then adding them all as add-on domains as you would do with the shared hosting account.
It is a cleaner solution usually. Oh and the unlimited bandwidth with 1tb of storage is a faux number, if you hit that consistantly they will very quickly ask you to move your sites or just lock them completely.
Though if you are just setting up a few sites you may want to try for the cheaper solution to start with and move it at a later date.
I think its more a selling point for most hosting companies.
