Default how do I install the new theme for the Blog

I'm not sure if I am missing something here, but I have searched everywhere and I cannot find any threads on this or PLRPro Forum, or video tutorials to assist. I am trying to install the theme pack provided for the blog in relation to 'Quit Smoking' as provided.

I have installed the blog in the normal manner.
I have gone to the blog folder/wp-content/themes
I have added the blog folder to the themes folder (as provided within the e-book pack)
When I go into Wordpress and select the new blog theme within the 'Presentations' area, the new theme will not display correctly.

Am I doing something wrong?

Can anyone assist with the procedure I should be following or what I am doing wrong?

Regards

Pete

Default Still having problems with changing the Presentations

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your reply.
I have re-installed blogs using the plr pro wordpress installer, which works fine when using the 2 default themes.

I have added the new themes that are contained within the blog folders. I have copied the entire folder into the wp-content > themes folder. When I go to the presentation section within Wordpress and view the Themes, I can see the new theme clearly. As soon as I select the newly installed theme and go to view the new bog, the blog theme fails and I get the following warning:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: language_attributes() in /home/lst4fact/public_html/memory/blog/wp-content/themes/memory/header.php on line 2

I have tried the same within the quit smoking blog and get a similar message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: language_attributes() in /home/lst4fact/public_html/quitsmoking/blog/wp-content/themes/quit_smoking/header.php on line 2

Can you let me know if I am doing something wrong and the likely cause of the problem? Should I be transfering the entire supplied blog folder into the 'themes' folder?

Any help will be of value

Regards

Pete

Steve

Default Have transferred the entire blog folder

Hi Steve,

Thanks again,

I have copied the blog folder that is supplied with the e-book, eg the memory blog folder.

I have gone into Wordpress:

public_html
>memory
>>blog
>>>wp-content
>>>>themes

Then I have copied the supplied blog folder into the themes folder.

Then I go into the Presention section of Wordpress, select the newly installed memory blog folder, then on viewing the new theme when selected, the fatal error occurs.

I have used blog themes in the past with Joel Comms IAT Themes and never had any problem installing new themes in this manner. Am I doing anything wrong here?

Can you tell me how you have changed the theme on your blog to the supplied e-book memory theme?

Regards

Pete

Default There would appear to be a fault with the Blog Theme within Quit Smoking

I have installed one of the other WordPress themes in exactly the same manner, as supplied by PLRPro and this works fine. When I install the one supplied within Quit Smoking, it fails - so it would appear that there is a fault within this theme.

Default

I added the quit smoking blog theme without a single error.
I simply loaded the folder and switched to that theme.

That was around a week ago.

Blessings
