| Hi Marc and Daniel Thanks for the incredible work that you are putting in to create these sites. I can finally see the light after stumbling in the dark for so long. I have a question with regards to the header images for the Memory site. I have downloaded GIMP and am able to edit the 'memory' photoshop page which is under the Site Graphics folder, however, the header image is only in a jpg format. Is there a way to use GIMP with this, or do I need to convert it in some way? I am very new at the editing graphics and struggling to know what to do next. Look forward to hearing your advice. Cheers Madonna |

| Hi Madonna, As far as I know you will need to access a .psd file (which is the full photoshop file with all the editable layers). If you go into the folder 'Site Graphics' you will find an editable image in there. I must say though that I am having a few problems the way it is set out, and delivered in a combined file. Perhaps someone can help with my query. I am assuming that the editable images have all been compiled into the one file. When I open this file in photoshop CS2, it tells me that some fonts are not available. This starts with the handwritten font, and it wants to substitute a font which I would rather not do. Can someone give us the names of the fonts, and perhaps how we can add them to photoshop? Also, once this is edited, are we supposed to crop the image up into the smaller bits we need to replace current files in the image folder?? I know that this may seem like a small thing to those experienced with such matters, however, it would seem easier to me to have each of the files separated ie header etc. (as in the training video) Perhaps there is a trick that makes the delivered format better, ie time saving or such, and if so, can we have a more specific video showing how to edit the combined file (rather than the individual files, header etc) as is currently in the training section. Cheers, Lynne |

| I was able to modify in Adobe Elements 4.0 using the psd file but I agree that having all the graphics in one file doesn't make things easy. They should be broken out in editable format so that we can edit the header in the way shown in the core videos for putting up the site. I believe the example in that video was the home refinancing site. |

| Hi there, The files you are looking for are in the 'site/complete/images' folder, if you edit those then you'll get the desired result. Hope that helps, Get free links for your site at Social Networking and General Web Directory it's a myspace and general link directory. Last edited by 25072911 : 10-20-2007 at 03:41 PM. |

As far as I can find the files you refer to are not the .psd files for editing, these are the .jpg image files for the site, which are not really editable as such. Obviously, these could be used with a lot more fiddling around, layered .psd files are way better. (please explain if I am wrong - I have downloaded the package again today, just in case it had been updated but it is the same). The only editable graphic file (I can find) in the Memory product is in 'site/Site Graphics', and this is one .psd file that includes all the graphics from the sale page in the one image. Which is different to the the instruction video, which has the header from 'Home Financing' as the example, which is a stand alone header graphic. On that point, I can't find ANY editable graphics in the Home Financing Package. Have I just not seen them? Or are they not there? Again, if someone can help that would be great (I will check other posts as well in case this has been addressed elsewhere). Thanks, Lynne Last edited by cruiser : 10-21-2007 at 12:19 AM. |

| Hello, In my package for the memory, I would look in the book file. I have editable pics in there. Those may be the ones you are looking for. In the psd form you can use the layers and change the steps. I have not downloaded the other pack yet, so I cant help you there. Hope that helps, Steve |

Thanks though. I hope Marc, Daniel or someone from support is reading this thread, perhaps they can enlighten me/us. Obviously not too many are having this problem, but I think it would be very helpful if site graphics were in separate editable files for each product. Would this be possible? Lynne PS A note re the training videos, while so far they are excellent, I found the one with editing the sales page impossible to see what was being edited in the html with notepad. The video or pic of the page was too small. It would help a lot (for inexperienced people like myself) to be able to actually read what is being edited. |

| Hello, Sorry that was not what you were looking for. I was watching the paypal video and I could not read what they were doing either. I also like to know what it says. Sorry, they will get back to us, Steve |

| I'm so frustrated with trying to change this header. I have PhotoShop and still can't get it to work. Please, Marc, put the graphics up all separated. Thanks.

| I've just downloaded the home refinancing files, and there is only one PSD for the site graphics, it's in the 'Site' folder and is called 'home_refinancing.psd'. The same with the memory ebook - just one PSD file for the site graphics, although it was in the 'Site Graphics' folder. The header PSD used in the home refinancing tutorial is not in the download. |
