Sales page or Blog first

I'm getting ready to load the PLR ebook on a domain but was wondering what people are doing and what Marc and Dan suggest as to blog or sales page as the front page to the domain and then the other as a subfolder.

I used my domain for the sales page. and then /blog for my blog. My reasoning behind is.

1. It's easier to market the domain name instead of a specific page on a domain.

2. SEO purposes for off page marketing

3. People do notice the link. If they see it is not the main landing page they can get a little leary and personally I do not think it's looks profetional. Many will disagree with that statement but it's my stance.
