Default Should the blogs be on their own domains?

I'm just curious with regards to what's best on setting up the blogs. Should the blogs be setup on their own domains (and link it to the ebook) or should I make them a sub-domain of the ebook. Anyone have any thoughts on this???

Thanks!

Hey Steve,

So when you setup an ebook, it's on it's own domain. And you setup a blog, it's on it's own domain. Example:

ww.ebook.com
ww.blog.com

I take it then you link the 2 together?

That's basically what I'm doing right now.

I was thinking of putting the blog as a sub-domain of the book. Example: ww.ebook.com/blog

Not too sure if there's any advantage to doing this though...

Actually on some of the new ebooks, I already have existing blogs on that particular topic. So I just link the 2 of them together. But on some of the new ebooks, I'm looking to create the blog as a sub-domain. Not too sure of there are any advantages to either way.....

What about setting the entire thing up in wordpress and using pages for your sales letter(s)?
