Default Adsense Code Box won't edit

When I edit the adsense code box and hit the edit adsense code button it doesn't save the changes.

I've uploaded and re uploaded it on 6 different sites with 6 different urls on the same server.

I've been all over the forum and have not found anything like this exc I do get the error "Warning: ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: Can't create directory: File exists in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp23/user/index.php on line 207". I also get this error.

The sites all look great. I just need to edit the adsense code.

Any help is appreciated.

hey sonny as far as the adsense goes I could suggest a couple of things for instance the way I did it is I went to my adsense account got the code and made sure the code is the right size ,example for header it's 720 or something by something else I can't remember off hand but paste that code into the
box and name it "leader" and save it .Then go to admin and presentation and theme editor and then header on the right side .Go into header and you'll see the adsense deluxe is already installed in the header so all you do is make sure that the code in the header has the
word "leader" inserted .You do the same thing on the other adsense in the sidebar except the
size is 280 or something and you name the code "rect" and check the sidebar to see if the adsense code has "rect" in it . I had the same exact problems your having on my blogs . If your having trouble saving the code it
probably has to do with how the blog was uploaded or check to see if adsense deluxe plugin is properly activated.I got the same message you got when I was uploading my blogs with the uploader --cannot mk dir or
something.I had to go into my server find out
more info on my database because I was putting in the wrong address for my database
which was different than my regular ftp address. After I figured this out I was able to upload without any messages and everything worked like adsense and all of it .so check out
your database and make sure all of your info is correct.hope this helps a little.
also if you don't see the adsense right away don't worry it takes a little time for it to show up,just get a sandwich and a coke and when you get back it will probably be there, sometimes up to 15minutes or so maybe
longer as long as you can see a blank space with nothing in there it will show up eventually!

hey vmfan1, thanks for the reply. finally figured it out. First they guy who runs my server had to change the mod_security. Then I had to change the whole adsense code not just the publisher id and it worked. I still get the error everytime i load a blog, but it seems to work after I do the above.
