Default adsense#main

Hi

I'm trying to work out which is the last adsense block so I only put the astracker code on the page once. I can see where the blocks "adsense" and "adsense#rect" go but I dont' see "adsense#main". Does anyone know where that adsense block appears?

Thanks
Gillian

Gillian,

Why don't you just put the tracking code in the footer.php? Then you don't have to worry about where the adsense is on the page.

Hi Bigwad

I wasn't keen on the code in the footer because the instructions for astracker say to put it immediately below the last block of adsense on the page and I may want to put other code in the footer later, that may interfere with it.

I'm curious anyway to know where that block appears as I can't see it anywhere.

Cheers
Gillian

It is in "single.php" look for the adsense delux code

Code:
<?php adsense_deluxe_ads('main'); ?>

Default astracker where

Hello,

I use the astracker and I have placed it in the footer right before </body>

It works just fine there, seems to have picked up all the clicks and sites.

Steve

That code is for the adsense that is displayed just above the tages at the bottom of the page when viewing a single post. ie when you click the title of a post and you see that post by it's self.

Ah. Makes sense to put the code in the footer then, as suggested.

Thanks
Gillian
