After almost 4 weeks my blogs are still showing the public service ads. Can someone point me to where I can check my publisher id is correct and in the right place? Could someone check their plugin editor - adsense deluxe - and see if their code shows in their and post here where it should be? Thanks Jakki

Bizkit, email google adsense and tell them. They can have it sorted in a flash, usually doesnt take much. I usually find that with some traffic and regular posting they go away, but again depends if there are ads available for your niche. Almost every niche has ads available these days :P Thanks Marc

Hey Jakki, You will need check your publisher id, and if you do have it wrong then you will need to go to the adsense deluxe plugin menu at >>Options>>Adsense Deluxe It is the last tab in the Options from within your wordpress install. Then click on Edit (under the actions column) next to each of the adsense blocks there (one at a time) Down the bottom the code will show for the block you clicked edit on. You will find the publisher id there that you are currently using in the "Adsense Code" box Edit the setting between the brackets below with the words (EDIT HERE) <script type="text/javascript"><!-- google_ad_client = "EDIT HERE"; google_ad_width = 728; google_ad_height = 90; google_ad_format = "728x90_as"; google_ad_type = "text"; google_ad_channel = ""; google_color_border = "FFFFFF"; google_color_bg = "FFFFFF"; google_color_link = "0000FF"; google_color_text = "000000"; google_color_url = "008000"; //--></script> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://pagead2.googlesyndication.com/pagead/show_ads.js"> </script> Then click on Edit adsense block a bit to the right and down a little. Let me know how you go. Thanks Marc

Jakki google ads will show with no id, so I would hate for you to have the wrong id in there and not get the clicks through on it. If I were you I would email Google. When you go to do an add with google and it comes up with all their code, if it sais pub-ca-xxxx then use it, just email them about it. Its just nothing I hvae seen before, but whos to say they dont do their codes that way also. Thanks Marc

Jakki, as long as you are just using pub-XXXXX you should be fine. Your mistake was most likely including the ca in front of the pub. When adsense actually gets inserted on a site, the code doesn't have the ca in front of it, and what was probably happening was that the code being created for you with the software was using what you inserted (with the ca) which was causing the problems. If the ads are showing, you should be able to check your adsense account and view impressions (if you can see your own ads then you'll be getting impressions) so you'll know you have the right code. Cheers Fiona
