Aksimet Plug-in & API key

I have a problem with the Aksimet plug-in.

I've entered my APi key

get a message,

Your key appears invalid. Double-check it.

and then the colour changes from red to blue but is not activated.

I went and got another API key and same thing.

Anyone else struck this?

PS my key worked fine on the straight domain install with PLRPro hosting, this is for the addon domains with my regular hositng.
