Amazon Banners

I was not happy with the product selection using the Amazon plugin. So I tried getting the code from the Amazon affiliate site. I pasted the code into the html of a post. It did not display as expected. No matter what type or size of ad I used it displayed as a generic wide banner. Also the section of the post following the ad was lost.

Does anyone know how to get this to work?

Hi Peg,

Not sure what is happening with the Amazon code but I was wondering if Marc could use the old Amazon plugin when he updates the WP installer, this new plugin doesn't give enough choice for topics.

With Amazon, if you go to Build Links in the associate area and then Product Links you virtually have what was brought up with the old Amazon plugin. You can then customise it to suit what you want.

If you click on the buy now button and then product information you will get the product review if you want to add that to the post.
