Hey Rexflay,

I just had the same problem. Here's what you do.

Log into wordpress

Click on "Users"

Scroll down to the bottom, and uncheck "Use the visual rich editor when writing"

This will turn off the rich editor. Then, just past the code in and it should work.

Let me know how it goes,

Kenny

There is another alternative to deselecting the visual rich editor, and that's to click on the html button. This will bring up a small window with the html code of your post. Just add your code here and select update. Then you'll return to the visual rich editor (which is easier for most people, especially those not overly comfortable with html).

Basically, it just means you don't have to keep selecting/deselecting the visual rich editor when you change from a video post to a text post.

Cheers
Fiona

Hi Fiona, thats the way it should be, but you can't use the the html button when posting video to wordpress, you have to select/deselect the visual rich editor as Kenny explained.

here's the wordpress support topic concerning this

Ahh, okay. Thanks for that clarification! You'd think Wordpress could make it a little simpler

Think I've posted Video embeds to blogger blogs before, but not Wordpress, and I figured it should work the same.

Cheers

Yeah, I tried it with the HTML button the first time also...

I'm not so sure why it's not that easy either.
