i was wondering....

i have just started using the blogs at plrpro...and i have been noticing something....

when i submit an article with a link back to my post....what link do i use...

is it the normal page link like this:
www.domainname.com/category/post_name

or

www.domainname.com/tag/post_name

was just wondering because i noticed that the post are place at two different emplacment.

My second question is...how come after a month my blog are not ranked on msn...just google....?? i know google is the target...but i am making around $5 to $8 a day with my 4 other site in html all from msn only....

so i was hoping to get some of that action to with my blog...any idea?

Best regards
Fred.

I have always use the www.domainname.com/category/post_name.

I belive you should be ok both ways as long as you use the same link each time.
As far as MSN goes, Are you index by MSN? It can take a while to show up in any search engine. For instance I rank very well on yahoo for one site but place 300 down in google for the same long tail keyword.

Looking at my blogs and then my static .html sites I do tend to rank better in MSN for the static site over the blogs. There is no exact rime or reason just keep up the posting and the SEO work and the traffic will come.

Case in piont. I have a site that has been up for around 8 months. I just started ranking number 2 on yahoo for this long tail keyword about 30 days ago. That one long tail keyword has brought in $35 bucks this month so far. The point here is to just keep pluggin away and let your site age while you constantly make a post or two a week and slowly build up back links.

It really is a waiting game. You just need to have faith that your time will come if you keep working consistantly - even if you don't see any results for the first 4,5 -> 12 months. Just keep at it.
