Default Other WP Templates

I understand that Marc has optimized the the WP template used with the auto installer. The default theme is Andreas 08 and I am assuming that this is the template that has been optimized.

The other two templates that come with the installation are the Classic and Default. Are they optimized?

I wanted to use different themes and wanted to make sure I use my time wisely and only use optimized themes.

thanks for your help,,,,

I think you will find that the Andreas 08 is the only template optimised. To add all the plug-ins to a theme that have been added to that one for us would take quite a lot of work

There is one way to find out though, after you install a site, go into Presentation, click on the image for one of the other 2 templates and see when you site comes up if all the plug-ins Marc has added for us are there, you can always click back onto the Andreas 08 template again.

And if the Andreas doesn't come back with all the original plug-ins then just go re-install your site.

Default and Classic come with all Wordpress installs so you can always add your own plug-ins to those or any other WP template you like.

No they are not.

But I plan on adding a couple more.

So what I will most likely do is remove those extra two templates.

And just add in a few that have been modified and optimized to work with what we are doing.

Thanks
Marc

Default WP Template mod question

Marc and Daniel,

Where may I find info that will help me to learn how to modify the 90 day challenge WP template, without messing up the plugins? I'm going to be using WAW and WP and I want the transition from the blog to the WAW pages to be seamless if possible. I really don't know anything about CSS so I'm hoping you might have some recommendations.

Thanks for your help,

Byron
