Search tags & technorati tags

Hi,

I had a look at Robert's blog at:

http://www.reviewcarauctions.com/blog

With the same template as we are using.

I noticed there are search tags and technorati tags.

How are these generated or do we have to insert ourselves?

I discovered the same thing quite by accident...

I got mine half-way working. When you log into the Admin of your blog, under Manage their is a TAGS option. If you don't see it, then maybe the plug-in is not activated.

All I did was go into Manage-TAGS and typed in a list of Tags where it said to. Now my posts have got default Technorati tags, but I still don't have the 'site search tags' working. Still just having the automated Technorati tags is exciting to me!

I'll do a video on how to correctly make a post.

When you "write a post"

There is an option just below the submit button called "tags" I beleive

Then an entry box.

You should enter your tags comma seperated.

But you only ever want to submit around 4 to 6 per post. And keep them as targetted as possible.

Just an other tip for you guys. If you don't want to have to type in the same tags all the time you can set it to save used tag's.

Log in to word press then navigate to Options > Tags. Then scroll right down to the bottom and under editing options you will see a drop down box next to "Show existing tags on post editing page" I use the tag list option. Once you have done that you can just click on the tags you want instead of typing them in all the time.
