Default WP support

I am a bit frustrated here

I made the WP installer work for me once but since then I get this bigdump.php error which makes no sence to me. I know this is not a place for charity (even though Marc and Daniel are giving us may more than we could ever expect) but I simply have no clue as to what I am doing wrong with the WP installer.

Everything seems so strait forward and I believe that I have watched the video 7 or 8 times now pausing after every single step to make sure I didn't miss anything.

What would you do if you were me (having spent about 5 hours todays trying to make it work)?

I put up a new site a couple of days ago and got the big dump message. When I went back to the installer, I had the web URL without the trailing slash / and it was a simple as that, clicked the button and it installed fine.

I usually have my web URLs as
http://www.domainwhatever.com/blog/

Someone said that it didn't matter about the / but I haven't been able to install successfully without it.

Sometimes it is such a simple thing like that, I wish you well with it I do know how frustrating it can be.
