Having trouble with Installer

I have installed about five websites ,so far but can not get it to work with other websites I am setting up. I get through first part and it turns green and the second part never does anything. I hit the button and never turns number 2 green. Please Help!!

I wonder if any one is facing the same problem as me, the installer comes with error message. This is my 16th time using it so i don't know what is the problem now.

I have tried using the blog installer but can't seem to get past the first step. I have successfully connected using other ftp clients. Is the process any different with the installer?

I keep getting the following error.

Warning: main(PEAR.php) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp23/user/VFS.php on line 3

Fatal error: main() [function.require]: Failed opening required 'PEAR.php' (include_path='.:/usr/php4/lib/php:/usr/local/php4/lib/php') in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp23/user/VFS.php on line 3.


I had logged a help ticket a while ago and haven't had any support from there either. Can someone please help?
