Hi, I've just tried to install WP with the installation script on hosting with another control panel than cpanel. The installation was broken without any error message. I've only got the message: Connecting with FTP Uploading the directory to the vserver XXX After that the installation script has finished work. Files are partially uploaded. Is the installation script only working with cpanel? Is there any download link for the resources available? Werner

Werner, The installation script isnt tied into cpanel in anyway. It just uses standard site connection protocols so cpanel or plesk or whatever, should make no difference. Have you watched the video on the install file? Thanks Marc

Hi Marc, I'm having the same problem like Werner. I'm using two hosting companies but none of them is Fantastico. One is GoDaddy - I was able to install Wordpress thru your installer but when I tried to view the site, this is the error message that I get when I use the Andreas 3 columns: Fatal error: Call to undefined function: optimal_title() in /home/content/p/r/i/princess1/html/travelluggageinfo.com/wp-content/themes/3-column/header.php on line 6 If I use Dewalds 2 column, it comes out ok. But I wanted to be able to use your template so that's why even if I'm struggling, I wanted to make it work. The other hosting company is Netfirms. This one is a big headache for me because I cannot even make a connection using the FTP of your installer. Help please. Thanks. Manuel
