Wink I don't get it - its mainly the overview Id like

Hi
You people are a 'godsend' I must say. I'd just like someone to explain how the whole thing works.

By this I mean Im with hostgator so if I use fantastico, and install a blog successfully how does one get all those great plugins into ones wordpress blog?

Do I need to use the pLrpro installer in order to 'fully' get the plugins into it auto? Or do I simply use fantastico and thats it? No Plrpro installs necessary?

I have a blog but with nothing in it. How do I get a header into it please? How does the index page work, is that just a new 1st page I blog myself?

What exactly is the database for?? Mysql - I seem to have them ie Mysql, MySQL database: xxxx_wrdp5
MySQL user: xxxx8_wrdp5

Are these ok or do I need a mysterious database?

Ill leave you with the details but - Ive removed the 'secret bits'

An instance of WordPress was installed on http://xxxx.com
Full installation path: /home/xxxxx/public_html/xxxxx/xxxcare
Public URL: http://xxxxx.com/sxxxare/
Admin URL: http://xxxx.com/skincare/wp-admin/
Username: xxxx
Password: xxxxx
MySQL database: xxxx_wrdp5
MySQL user: xxxxx_wrdp5

Hope you can help me.

Default Hello

Hello,
Yes you need to use the plrpro installer to get the plugins automatically. There is a video on how to get the header graphic in your blog. The sql data base is going to hold all of your blog post. There is also a video on that too. Watch all the video and I think they will answer all of your questions.
