Try this and see if it helps you with cpanel;

http://cpanel4hosting.com/

Also, an FTP program is a program that will give you access to the server (hosting account) that your site is on. FTP stands for 'File Transfer Protocol' .

What you need to do to get started with accessing files on your hosts server is to get a FTP program. Many are free that you can download. I use one called 'FileZilla'. There is another one called 'SmartFTP' and others as well. Go to Google type in one of the two I mentioned and go and download one and install it on your computer.

Once it is installed there will be boxes in the program to input your login information such as username and password that you get from your host provider when you signed up. After you input that information you click connect, it takes a few seconds usually then you now have access to the files on your hosts server/computer.

You can transfer files to and from computers (yours and theirs) or you can delete files if you need to on an as needed basis.

Hope this helps.

Mike

I have installed the filezilla (easy) I have filled out the plrprohosting.com I Have put in the username and password that I registered with to the plrprohosting.com/support/site. Now I am getting this message

Response: 220-You are user number 1 of 50 allowed.
Response: 220-Local time is now 20:18. Server port: 21.
Response: 220-IPv6 connections are also welcome on this server.

Now what have I done wrong? I want to start on the 9o day course and stick with it. I have now spent half the day just to get to this point and I haven't got any result. If I keep going at this pace the 90 Days will turn into 180 days

Frustration is mounting

Default Re: Still having trouble

Everything looks like it was going well up until it the password (where I bolded it below). As you can see the server recognizies your USER name, thats good, so in theory it should recognize your PASSWORD as well if input correctly.

My thoughts are to recheck your password when you input it. Make sure that it is exact as you were given/chosen. Make sure that there are no trailing spaces before or after.

If you are still having difficulties then Robert in this forum or in the PLRPro main forum may be able to help further as he knows the plrprohosting better than most. I personally don't use PLRPro hosting, I use a paid hosting account with Hostgator so I don't know about it unfortunately.

Hope this helps some.

Mike
