Installer Problem

Hi Marc
I followed the video step by step and when i clicked set up the blog the following error came up:

Warning: ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: Can't create directory: File exists in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp/user/index.php on line 53

This is just repeated about 30 times down the page?????

At the bottom it says: Database connection failed due to Access denied for user 'dazkat_dazkat '@'localhost' (using password: YES)

Edit the database settings in /home/dazkat/public_html/bigdump.php or contact your database provider

Start from the beginning (DROP the old tables before restarting)

Error establishing a database connection
This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at local. This could mean your host's database server is down.

Are you sure you have the correct username and password?
Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname?
Are you sure that the database server is running?

Is there a way of deleting everything that i did in the installer files so i can start again with a clean slate??? Or is there a way to fix it from here???

Hey Dazkat,

No need to delete the files, you can just install over the top.

But something is up with your database details.

By the look of it a few details possible.

1. The user isnt added into the database.
2. Details are entered incorrectly.
3. Something I havent seen before.

Please check those details and try again.
