My host lists the following as privileges: Read read/write DBA Which one should I choose when trying to do the WP install. The video states to choose all,but that's in a CPanel scenario. My host does not use CPanle.

With the installer it doesn't matter what Control Panel you use. Cpanel, Plesk or any other it shouldn't make a difference. The best way to find out what permission you should use is try both. First try 777 and if that doesn't work try 755.

Its me again I have been deleting and reinstalling for 7 days now and I am still getting the same message 'Warning: ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: Can't create directory: File exists in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp/user/index.php on line 53 Warning: ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: Can't create directory: File exists in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp/user/index.php on line 53 Warning: ftp_mkdir() [function.ftp-mkdir]: Can't create directory: File exists in /home/wwwplr/public_html/wp/user/index.php on line 53 Upload Complete!! Configuration File modified. SQL File modified. Header image uploaded successfully. ' and 'Error establishing a database connection This either means that the username and password information in your wp-config.php file is incorrect or we can't contact the database server at localhost. This could mean your host's database server is down. * Are you sure you have the correct username and password? * Are you sure that you have typed the correct hostname? * Are you sure that the database server is running?' A little help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
